Day 1 Tuesday Copenhagen
|
Individual arrival at your hotel. Your confirmation will show which
hotel we have booked for you. In the early evening your tour escort will
organise a get-together to go through the main points of the tour.

Day 2 Wednesday Copenhagen
|
Buffet breakfast. In the morning there is a city tour, during
which you will see The Little Mermaid guarding the port, Nyhavn with all
its restaurants and small boats, the City Hall Square and other main
features of Copenhagen. The afternoon is free for individual visits,
perhaps to the Tivoli Amusement park or an optional tour to Roskilde.

Day 3 Thursday Copenhagen-Oslo

Buffet breakfast. Early departure by coach to North Sealand and
the town of Helsingoer, famous for the Kronborg Castle where Hamlet was
set. Here you catch a ferry over to Helsingborg in Sweden and then
continue along the Swedish West Coast, the Swedish Riviera with its many
beaches and summer resorts. You will drive through Gothenburg, the second
largest city of Sweden. The tour continues along the now more barren coast
with cliffs and a popular area for pleasure boats and sailing ships.
Towards the evening you will arrive in Oslo, situated by the Oslofjord.

Day 4 Friday Oslo

Buffet breakfast. In the morning you will have a city tour
including a walk around the Frogner Park, decorated with sculptures by
Gustaf Vigeland. You also pass by the City Hall and the main street, Karl
Johan, leading to the Royal Palace. Afternoon at leisure for independent
activities. Overnight. |
Day 5 Saturday Oslo-Bergen
|
Buffet breakfast. Today you enter the area of the forests and
rivers of Norway, following the Hallingdal Valley, known for its folkloric
tradition, and continue to Geilo, a winter resort, refreshing also in the
summer. You cross the Mountain plateau of Hardanger and on the descent
towards the Fjord you pass the famous Waterfall of Vöringsfossen. You
cross the Hardangerfjord by ferry and continue along its shores to Bergen,
the Gateway of the Fjords. This is Norway's second largest city and it is
beautifully situated surrounded by 7 mountains. Overnight. |
Day 6 Sunday Bergen

Buffet breakfast. In the morning you will be introduced to this
remarkable City of the old Hansa. You will enjoy the view of the Bryggen
area of old wooden houses that is part of the UNESCO World Heritage, as
well as the traditional Fish Market. Afternoon free to explore Bergen.

Day 7 Monday Sognefjord

Buffet breakfast. Today you travel through the fjord area with
fantastic views from Stalheim and also a 2 hrs cruise of the Sognefjord,
the largest fjord in Norway.You climb from the fjord to the mountain
resort of Geilo where you stay the night. Dinner and
overnight. |
Day 8 Tuesday Geilo-Karlstad
|
Buffet breakfast. Today you continue through the Valdres area
and then you enter the county of Värmland in Sweden. You will drive
through areas with typical Scandinavian Scenery and thick forests, which
will evoke the atmosphere of the fairy-tales of Trolls and mystery.

Day 9 Wednesday Karlstad-Stockholm

Buffet breakfast. Today you will travel past forests and lakes, and also some
very fertile areas of Sweden as you approach Stockholm. Arrival in
Stockholm around lunchtime. Afternoon free. Overnight. |
Day 10 Thursday Stockholm
|
Buffet breakfast. In the morning a city tour shows you some of
the beauty of this city built on 14 islands with bridges and viewpoints
giving an enchanting feeling of space and light. You will walk around the
charming Old Town with its narrow cobbled streets, passing The Royal
Palace as well as the Great Church, where the present King and Queen were
married in 1976. The afternoon is free for other excursions or visits to
the City Hall, the Wasa Museum or a tour to Uppsala and Sigtuna.

Day 11 Friday Stockholm-Helsinki

Buffet breakfast. Morning free in Stockholm. At 15.00hrs
transfer from hotel to pier, for embarkation on a cruise ferry of the
Silja Line. At 16.45 hrs departure of cruise from Stockholm, sailing
slowly down the glorious archipelago past numerous small islands.
Dinner and overnight on board. Choice of entertainment, bars, shops and casino.

Day 12 Saturday Helsinki
|
Buffet breakfast onboard. Enjoy your buffet breakfast as you
sail into Helsinki. After disembarkation 2 hours guided tour of Helsinki.
Famous sights include the Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament
House, Finlandia Hall, Sibelius Park & Monument, Church in the Rock
and much more. Afternoon free in Helsinki. Accommodation at Hotel. |
Day 13 Sunday Helsinki-St. Petersburg

Packed breakfast at hotel. Early morning departure by train or bus to St. Petersburg.
Afternoon arrival in St. Petersburg, a city of outstanding
architectural beauty, famous for its magnificent palaces, cathedrals,
fountains and bridges. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation at a first class
hotel. |
Day 14 Monday St. Petersburg
|
Buffet breakfast at hotel. In the morning panoramic tour of the
city by coach with local English-speaking guide, including a visit to the
famous Peter & Paul Fortress, burial place of the Russian Tsars. Other
famous sights include the Admiralty, Palace Square, Smolny Convent, St.
Isaac’s Cathedral. Afternoon free. Overnight. |
Day 15 Tuesday St. Petersburg - Moscow
|
Buffet breakfast at hotel. In the morning, tour of the the
world-famous Hermitage Art Museum. Return to the hotel. Afternoon free.
In the evening coach transfer with assistance to St. Petersburg Airport. Approx.
1 hour’s flight to Moscow. Coach transfer from airport to your hotel,
in the Russian capital. Accommodation at First Class hotel.

Day 16 Wednesday Moscow
|
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Morning tour of the Kremlin and
Armoury Museum with local English-speaking guide. This tour lasting
approx. 3 hours has to be done by foot as no coaches are allowed inside
the area. The Kremlin is the heart of the city. It stands on the crest of
a hill above the Moskva River. It is flanked by the Red Square, that is
crowned by the unique and gorgeous St. Basil’s Cathedral. You will pass by
the Lenin Mausoleum and the grave of the unknown soldier, where brides
still leave their wedding bouquets, the famous St. Basil’s Cathedral and
visit one of the 5 Cathedrals located on the territory of the Kremlin. The
Armoury Museum. Return by coach to hotel.

Day 17 Thursday Moscow

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Moscow was founded in the 12th
century, built as a wooden fortress on the banks of the Moscow River to
keep out barbarian invaders from the east. Today it is a modern city with
wide boulevards and green parks, yet proudly preserving its historic
monuments and impressive buildings from previous eras.During your 3 hours
panorama tour of the city you will see the amazing golden, blue and green
towers of the Orthodox churches, the Bolshoy Theatre, Gorkij Park
(Moscow's largest entertainments park), the State University of Moscow and
impressive buildings from previous eras and numerous other famous
sights.In the evening you will be attending a performance of the Famous

Day 18 Friday Moscow

transfer, with assistance, to Moscow Airport for your flight home. |
